Magdalene is considered to be her first full length record since LP1 and was produced all by herself with other talented people like Jack Antonoff and Benny Blanco. Her inspiration from this album was from her break-up with the famous actor and celebrity, Robert Pattinson, where it's speculated the hate coming from fans of Pattinson was racially motivated. In a couple of her songs, she writes how she wants to be with him but many people don't want to see them together. Also, some inspiration came from famous musicians like Kate Bush and Bjork that allowed her to experiment with her music. Reviews, again, were astonishing withThe Daily Telegraph giving the album 5/5 stars and The Times giving her 4/5 stars. Once again, another successful album!
